When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and profile picture provided by your identity provider (e.g. Google). As you use LexyBee we also store your language preferences, learning progress, and content you create within the app.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the LexyBee service
• Personalize your learning experience
• Send transactional emails (e.g. magic-link sign-in)
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a self-hosted PostgreSQL database. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and follow security best practices. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

• Google (OAuth authentication)
• Resend (transactional email delivery)

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your authentication session. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days.

LexyBee is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
